Korean Electronics Giant Samsung revealed a new cell phone on Monday. It is a cheeper alternative for the Galaxy Note 3 that was released just a month ago.
What was improved in comparison to the predecessor?
- Improved screen ( now it features 5.25 in 1280×720 HD 720 p display) In the previous model it was just 800×480 panel.
- Processor (It was upgraded to a quad-core from dual-core.)
- Memory (Device has 1.5 GB of Ram in comparison to the previous model’s 1 GB)
Samsung said, “Samsung today introduced the Galaxy Grand 2, a device that offers an optimal large-screen experience on a portable, compact smartphone. “This evolution of the Galaxy Grand series brings meaningful upgrades to its predecessor including an improved HD viewing experience, enhanced performance, and many other intuitive features.”
New device comes with preinstalled Android 4.3 Jelly bean OS, at this moment there is no word on if Kitkat 4.4 is supported. Other tech specs include Rear 8MP and front facing 1.9MP HD cameras, 8GB of flash storage which can be upgraded up to 64GB, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 2,600mA, which promises 17 hours of talk Time according to Samsung.
